At the top of every web page there is an area called the header. If you look at the code making up your page (in Internet Explorer put the mouse pointer somewhere in the middle of the page, right-click and select View Source) there is a lot of gobbledegook at the top of the page before the real business begins. This is to tell the browser information about the page and lies between what are called the header tags (<head> and </head).
Apart from URLs all the subjects in this section are found in this header area.
